The Child Protection Center is dedicated to the PREVENTION, INTERVENTION, and TREATMENT of child abuse in our community.

Consider these FACTS:
• The leading cause of death in children under the age of four is child abuse.
• Four children die every day from abuse and neglect.
• The rate of child abuse is estimated to be three times higher than actually reported.
• Child abuse occurs among all socioeconomic levels and crosses ethnic and cultural lines.
• Child abuse is preventable through education, intervention and treatment.

The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) is able to reach more than 30,000 children/adults per year
through services provided by our FIVE core programs.
