What if a child has had an incident of abuse that was reported?

As a natural part of the counseling we assist children in resolving issues of trauma. This includes their sharing what they want of the trauma and eventually defining ways to create safety and growth from all the situations they experience in life. We also believe that part of a child’s growth is accountability and responsibility. If they have hurt someone else, it is a part of the learning process to admit and learn from what lead to that choice so they can break patterns and grow forward. If treatment was recommended from the community we can confirm a child’s participation in the program to support the parent’s response to the situation.
