What do I tell my child about coming to the Child Protection Center for services?

Be honest with your child. Tell them that the Child Protection Center is a child-friendly place where children and families come to meet with staff about concerns of abuse and neglect. The process involves a multidisciplinary team of professionals from different agencies.

When you arrive at our center you will wait in our kid-friendly waiting room and parents will complete some paperwork for us. Once completed our professional staff will met with you and our services will begin.
