Will my child need counseling?

Children and families impacted by child abuse should be assessed by a qualified mental health provider to determine if counseling is needed. Our counselors utilize empirical instruments that help us to assess their treatment needs. All verified victims of abuse should be assessed, but that does not necessarily mean that they will need treatment.

The CPT case coordinator assigned to your case will refer children and families to our counseling programs for follow-up services. We currently offer individual, family and group counseling for children, siblings, and the non-offending caregiver.
